Since March 2005 Founding Partner and Managing Director of the OMD Consulting Group. Professional experience of more than 25 years, always framed in different facets of the function of Human Resources, both as a consultant and executive in the “line”, in National and multinational companies, mainly in companies of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) On both sides of the sector (Manufacturer and Distributor). For almost 10 years I worked in the PepsiCo Group until February 2005, and in this company I have held several HR positions, both as generalist and specialist:

  • In Sept / 2003, PepsiCo International, and PepsiCo Europe (All Europe, except UK) were created as a result of a major worldwide restructuring. In that process I was promoted to the position of Director of Organization & Development for Europe, taking responsibility for the 4 Business Areas of the PepsiCo Group (Pepsi, Frito Lay, Tropicana and Quaker Oats / Gatorade). My responsibility covered 38 countries and 12,000 people. In this position it had a team of 17 people, of 7 nationalities and distributed throughout Europe, with the complexity of working and managing a multicultural and geographically dispersed group.
  • From 2000 to 2003, Director of Organization and Development of Frito Lay for Western Europe (Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Holland and Belgium).
  • In 1999 I was promoted to the position of Director of Organization and Development of Southern Europe of Frito Lay (Spain, Portugal, France, Greece and Cyprus).
  • Between 1996 and 1998, I held several positions as generalist in Frito Lay Spain, until I reached the position of Director of Human Resources in the commercial area (1500 people, 43 collective agreements and relations with all major unions in the country, especially CCOO, UGT, ELA-STV).

Prior to joining PepsiCo, I developed my professional career in the Consultancy Sector (Between 1988-1991 and 1994-1995), occupying positions as Consultant, Manager and Associate Director, and in the “line” as HR Director of a company of Distribution (28 supermarkets and 3 hypermarkets, with a workforce of more than 1,000 people and 25,000 million turnover – year 92/93).

As a summary of my professional experience I would emphasize that, due to the international positions I have occupied, mainly during the last 10 years at PepsiCo, I have acquired a sensitivity and multicultural knowledge, leadership of teams and people of different nationalities, with a clear orientation towards attainment Without compromising the ethical principles, as well as a solid and solid functional excellence in the different specialties of the Human Resources function (Organization & Development, Compensation & Benefits and Labor Relations), as a consequence of the high level of development that Has this function in the PepsiCo Group.
